I know there is a month or a day for everything under the sun. And maybe you're sick to death of being smacked upside the head with various awareness causes. I confess I've been known to roll my eyes from time to time too.
But not in November.
See, November is Epilepsy Awareness Month.
And 5 Novembers ago our life was radically changed. 5 Novembers ago our life was touched by seizures. 5 Novembers ago my sweet little baby boy was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms - a catastrophic form of epilepsy.
Even though the reality for our family is that every day is saturated in epilepsy awareness...November is a time for those whose lives have been touched by this disease to collectively raise our voices. Our passion is movement towards a cure.

ps. Purple happens to be the chosen color for Epilepsy Awareness…so be prepared to see LOTS of purple this month! 
I love that Trevy photo! Beautiful! October was SPD month, but I don't think they've decided on a color as I see it purple, too, or orange.
